Comfy Dog Club is not your typical big box kennel or boarding facility.  Here we strive to be your dog’s true ‘home away from home.’  We are the next best thing to the comfort of your own home.

 Our services were designed around meeting the emotional, physical and natural needs of dogs.

Creating happiness and contentment among our doggy guests combined with providing their human’s with peace of mind and convenience is our ultimate goal and priority.

Will you be away for a few days and don’t want to subject your dog to ‘kennel treatment’?  Experience doggy boarding like no other.  Your pups will be treated like one of the family while enjoying a comfy home environment.

Don’t have the time to take your dog to the groomers or veterinarian? Unable to take time off from work or school to take your dog somewhere? We would be happy to help!

Doggy Sleepovers ~ available 7 days a week

Every one of our doggy guests is considered a VIP (Very Important Pooch!)

Our all-inclusive sleepover rate includes:

  • Comfy Cab for pick up and drop off.
  • Daily Participation in Doggy Daycare Enrichment Program.
  • Potty breaks every 2 hours.
  • Personal one on one time. Your pup will enjoy plenty of one on one time with us doing whatever they enjoy most! (playing, lap time, nap time, petting, fetch, snuggling, etc.).
  • Medication Administration (oral only) .
  • Food prep, however your pup likes it! We prepare meals just like you do at home. (We even include our own special all organic homemade broth 'toppers' for picky pups - tuna, turkey, chicken or beef).
  • Filtered drinking water.
  • Clean and green amenities.
  • Climate controlled to keep your pets comfy and cozy at all times.
  • Air filtration system.
  • Whine down time: Homemade bedtime treat and soothing house music (specifically created for dogs) to help your pup wind down, reduce stress and relax after his/her busy day.
  • Always staffed throughout the night (of course since we live here!).
  • Unlimited TLC and human interaction.

Doggy Daycare Enrichment Program

Available Monday – Thursday, 9:00am – 2:00pm

Our Doggy Daycare Enrichment Program specializes in shy or fearful dogs. We have three rescue dogs of our own and each of them have had their own hurdles to overcome. Transitioning into home life and becoming a well-balanced happy dog can be especially difficult for dogs that are victims of puppy mills, come from shelters, were abused, or just have a fearful personality.

The All-Inclusive Comfy Dog Club rate of 50.00 per day/per dog includes:

  • Comfy Cab for pick up and drop off (must be within 30min drive of Carnegie, PA).
  • Play yard time and socialization activities with other doggy guests.
  • Interaction with well-balanced ‘Mentor’ dogs.
  • Confidence building activities such as Mind Games, Agility, and Nose Work.
  • Group walks
  • Relaxation and Chill time

(Activities vary daily)

Comfy Dog Club Requirements:

To be considered for membership to the Comfy Dog Club…

ALL DOGS MUST:

  • BE healthy and up to date on all vaccinations and exams to include Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) and have a negative fecal exam within the last 6 months).
  • Titers also accepted as well as notes from veterinarians if your senior dog no longer receives vaccinations due to age and/or health issues.
  •  First time guests will need to submit a clean fecal exam within the first 30 days before their stay.
  • BE free of any disease or sickness.
  • Dogs that are visibly unwell cannot be accepted (diarrhea, vomiting, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, contagious rashes or skin conditions, etc.)
  • Pets that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require a veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.
  • BE free of fleas and/or ticks and flea/tick control should be in use.
  • BE 30lbs and under and/or a gentle senior (7+ yrs). We are currently accepting gentle seniors of all sizes.
  • BE 6 months or older.
  • BE spayed or neutered.
  • NOT BE a bully. We do not accept bullies of any kind ~ regardless of breed.
  • NOT HAVE a history of aggressive behavior such as biting humans or other dogs.
  • NOT LACK good social skills (i.e. Dogs whose intensity and energy often seem to annoy, pick on, or scare other dogs).
  • PASS a personality evaluation through a ‘Meet n’ Greet’ or half day of daycare.
