Testimonials

"We would be lost without DuMontier Doggy Daycare's home visit service. Michelle has been easy to communicate with, reliable, and a true blessing to us. She has gone above and beyond while coming to our home on average three times per week.
With no family in the area, we were hesitant to trust just anyone to come into our home and care for our 'babies,' but Michelle has put our fears to rest. I would recommend her services to anyone looking for affordable, convenient, and trustworthy pet care.
*Plus, my boston terrier loves her...and he is definitely not easy to win over! :)"

"I knew I did not want a kennel. I found DuMontier's Doggy Daycare and all my nerves were put to rest. My puppy and I visited the daycare to check out the environment. Michelle was so warm, caring and welcoming to my puppy. While I was away, I received photos and updates of how my puppy was behaving. She fit right in to their family. I was given a report card upon pick up so I was aware of everything that happened during her stay. I recommend DuMontier's to anyone who is looking for individual attention and love for their dogs while they can not be with them!"

"Michelle has been watching my girls, Sophie and Coco for quite a while. Coco, is extremely shy. Michelle knew exactly what to do when handling Coco which put me to ease. To my surprise, the first time we met Michelle, Coco began to give her kisses and then even whined and cried when she left. I was instantly sold and have been pleased with her ever since. These dogs are very important to me because I lost my only daughter, they are all I have now. Michelle has helped Coco to become more social with all kinds of people and other dogs, which has pleased me to no end. Nothing has made me happier to know that such a wonderful person is entrusted to with my dogs. I highly recommend her to anyone who cares about their dogs as much as I care for mine. The girls love her and so do I. She's the best!"

"Michelle is the best dog sitter ever! I used to worry and feel concerned about leaving my dog when I went away, but when Bubbs stays with Michelle I have complete peace of mind. She comes home happy and well cared for. She is excited to arrive - and sad to leave - that certainly says a lot about the care given by Michelle. Michelle truly loves the dogs that stay with her as if they were her own."

"Michelle DuMontier, the BEST dog sitter out there. I wouldn't trust my dogs with anyone else outside my family besides her! Especially, Rusty - and his anxiety issues. If Anyone EVER needs a dog sitter and doesn't wanna put your best friend in the kennel... Michelle is the person I would highly recommend!! Seriously Above and Beyond care for your dog... which means I can rest assure and enjoy my vacation. :)"

"Our boy, Gus, was a 15 month old male Golden Retriever & was quite a handful when we met Michelle – she was perfect with and for him! Now, a year later he is easier to handle but is still highly active! Not only does he love to go to DuMontier’s he comes home with NO new bad habits – something that I cannot say about other sitters we have used. I would highly recommend DuMontier’s!"

"We were so lucky to have found Michelle! Our basenji Jacob can be quite fickle and difficult to walk - so when he warmed up to Michelle right away, we were thrilled! Our last dog walker/boarder left us 'suddenly' and we didn't know what we were going to do. Finding someone who is trustworthy, reliable and will treat your dog like it's their own is hard to come by. Look no further - Michelle is it!"

"My husband and I had a very easy going female boxer (Kiah) and in September 2011 added a rambunctious male boxer (Cooper) to our house! We knew we were in need of help because of our irregular work schedules. Through a high recommendation from a friend we were introduced to Michelle. Michelle was pivotal for our younger boxers (Cooper) development. He was a rescue and doesn't take to new people very fast but he took to Michelle very quickly! Which was how Michelle first made me feel at ease. She also won our trust and respect instantly, because she communicates so well and never lets us down.
There are many dog walking services out there but you can rest assured that your dog will be in great hands with Michelle. We highly recommend her!"

"We LOVE Michelle and DuMontier's Doggy Daycare! She's the nicest, most caring dog sitter I've dealt with. We call her aunt Michelle because it's their home away from home. I've had some bad experiences with other daycares and I can easily say she's the only person I trust to take care of Bailey and Henry. My dogs love her and I know they're safe. I wouldn't know what to do without her."

"Prior to discovering Michelle I was using a national boarding facility for my dogs when I was away (I tried multiple locations of them in the Pittsburgh area). I'd watch my dogs on the cameras and two of them would be shaking, not interacting, just downright miserable. Numerous times those facilities messed up my pets medications, even to the point of grooming the wrong dogs!
I was recommended by a friend to Michelle. We went to visit and my little chihuahua, Destiny, just adored her. Destiny is very nervous in new situations and gets upset easily to the point of shaking and being immobile for hours. Destiny met Michelle and her dogs and was all smiles; running around the yard and rolling in the grass.
I also have a special needs dog and Michelle gives her all of her daily medications (up to 10) and another pup with a daily grooming regime. I can go away with the piece of mind my dogs are well cared for and happy. They're in a home environment and get to socialize with other fabulous dogs too. Michelle keeps you informed of how your pups are doing with texts and pictures; I just can't recommend her enough!"

I have three dogs that mean everything to me... Gino, Fae and Foster:>) I was always very nervous about sending my animals to a doggy day camp or an overnight kennel because they are geriatric and require special attention. After chatting with the owner Michelle I realized how passionate and caring she is towards her house quests. Michelle is incredible and always treats my dogs like she would treat her own and welcomes them into her home with open arms. The facility which is the owners home is very clean and somehow smells like a candle shop instead of a wet dog! I love the large fenced in yard with the water fountain... looks like a doggy spa. My dogs love staying at this doggy palace and I highly recommend this business for anyone who is looking for a charming, sweet and clean place for their pup to stay when their away.

"I have had some bad experiences with dog sitters in the past and I was initially a little apprehensive to give another dog walker a try. I found Michelle and I am so thankful I did! Michelle has been walking Myron daily as well as watching him while we are away for over 3 years now. She is fantastic with Myron and he gets so excited to see her every time we drop him off (he even gets sad to leave when we come to get him!). Myron loves being outside and Michelle has the perfect yard for him to run around and play with the other pups. Michelle also keeps me updated at all times to let me know Myron is okay. I don't have to worry about going away or working late knowing that Michelle is there for Myron. I highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking her a dog walker or sitter. You will not have to worry when your pup is in her care!"

"I am so thankful to have Michelle to care for Roka while I am away! I use her for daily walks while I am at work as well as in house sitting when I leave town. She is great with him and Roka loves her! I am able to relax when I am away knowing that my little baby is with her! Michelle is very reliable and very flexible with her schedule even if I have a last minute request, which I love!"

"We have been sending our dog to DuMontier's Doggy Daycare for daycare and for sleepovers since he was a puppy. He loves it and has so much fun there, it is definitely his second home. We don't trust many people to watch our dog and we are so thankful to have Michelle available if we need her, especially when we are out of town. It is amazing to know that when we are gone our pup is being well taken care of and loved so that we don't have to worry. Michelle treats him like one of her own and we would recommend her to anyone. We are very happy that we found her!"
